Justin Timberlake Named Most Stylish Man In America

Grammy-winning pop singer Justin Timberlake has topped GQ magazine's list of the "10 most Stylish Men in America," giving his banker stepfather the credit for his dress sense.
The men's magazine praised Timberlake, 28, for his impact on fashion, his willingness to take risks and "knack for targeting trends" including hats, three-piece suits, skinny ties and beards.
The timing of the award is good news for Timberlake, whose own clothing line William Rast, launched in October 2006 with his friend Trace Ayala, is on the runway at this week's New York Fashion show for its second outing.
Timberlake told the March issue of GQ that he got his sense of style from his stepfather, Paul Harless, a banker who laid out his suit for the next morning every night and went to work looking "like Richard Gere in (American) Gigolo."
As for his signature style of wearing a suit with sneakers, Timberlake said that was more for practicality that design.

"I just put sneakers on because I couldn't dance in the shoes I had. I couldn't leap with just insoles and dress shoes. I would've hurt myself,"

said Timberlake, who rose to fame as a singer with the boy band 'N Sync and went solo in 2002.
Other honorees on the list of "Stylish Men" include music producer Mark Ronson who came in second place and photographer Alex Lubomirski who came third.
They were joined by rappers Kanye West and T.I., actor Jason Schwartzman, and hotelier Andre Balazs.

Ciara Teams With Justin Timberlake For New Single

Singer Ciara is teaming with label mate Justin Timberlake for her new single, "Love Sex Magic." Co-written by Timberlake, the dance-ready tune features a vocal duet by the pair. It's produced by The Y's. Ciara and Timberlake shot a video for the track last week with director Diane Martel, according to her label, Jive Records.

"Love Sex Magic" is from Ciara's forthcoming CD, Fantasy Ride, which is due April 7th.

Ciara's first single from Fantasy Ride is "Never Ever" featuring Young Jeezy. The tune is beginning to climb the urban radio charts, landing last week at Number 32.

Timbaland Clears Up "Bogus" Album Rumours

Timbaland has slammed speculation about upcoming album Shock Value 2 as "bogus".

Last month a leaked report suggested that he had enlisted the help of Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake and Usher on the forthcoming LP. The report, which was falsely attributed to MTV, also claimed to have previewed five live tracks from the album.

"It's funny. I'm surprised people are watching me like that," Timbaland told MTV. "I am recording the album, but I don't know none of them joints, none of them songs. That's just bogus.

"I'm just revamping. I'm not even at a stage to say where I'm at. I'm not at a beginning, I'm not at a middle. I'm just zoning out trying to find a new sound I wanna attack, and I think I got it. It's something you never heard, something I never tried."

The original Shock Value album, released in 2007, featured cameos from Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, The Hives, Nicole Scherzinger and OneRepublic.

Shock Value 2 is due for release in 2009.

Jessica Loves Justin's music

Jessica Biel was mortified when boyfriend Justin Timberlake caught her listening to his music.

The 'Easy Virtue' actress usually takes careful measures to ensure the 'SexyBack' singer doesn't catch her listening to his albums, but was found out during a surprise phone call.

She revealed: "I have to really watch out because I sing Justin's songs at home.

"When we first started hanging out I had to be really careful because he used to call me and I'd be blasting - and I mean blasting - his music while I was in the pool, swimming with my dogs. He'd call me and I'd have to fly out of the pool, drop the volume and be like, 'Hey, what's going on? I'm just at the pool, chilling out.'

"And he caught me once actually, we were on the phone and he goes, 'Are you playing 'Justified'?' I was like, 'No! I'm not!' "

Justin Timberlake To Hit The Screen With Jessica Biel

Justin Timberlake is set to take his relationship with actress Jessica Biel to the big screen.

The couple are currently looking for a movie project to work on together and are trying to agree on a suitable genre.

A source tells Irish newspaper the Sunday World: "Justin is very keen to do a comedy while Jessica wants to do something grittier because she's concerned about her image."

Timberlake took a break from making music in 2004 to kick-start his acting career and has since stared in a variety of movies including 'Alpha Dog', 'Southland Tales' and as the voice of young King Arthur in last year's 'Shrek The Third'.

Michelle Williams' Justin Dream

Michelle Williams would love to record a duet with Justin Timberlake. The former Destiny's Child singer admires the 'SexyBack' star's hard working attitude and also his gorgeous body. She said: "I like Justin Timberlake. He is not only hot, he also has an amazing work ethic. If I met him I would ask him if we could do a duet. By duet, I mean make a record together!" 

Although Michelle has a soft spot for Justin, she admits she would rather date a more mature man but doesn't care what they look like. She explained: "I want a guy who is older than me - so that rules out Justin, although he is mature for his age. I wouldn't want anyone older than 34. He doesn't have to be overly cute because I don't want him hogging the mirror. He would need to be funny, loyal and have his own career." 

Michelle also revealed she still regularly sees her former bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland and has added fuel to rumours about the band reforming. The 28-year-old star added: "Destiny's Child getting back together certainly hasn't been ruled out, although we don't talk about business when we are hanging out - it is just girly gossip. 

"We are all busy with solo ventures, but who knows what the future holds?" Destiny's Child released their last album 'Destiny Fulfilled' in 2004.

Mega-recording artist Justin Timberlake has just announced the power-packed line up of stars who will join him on stage for the Justin Timberlake and Friends event benefitting the Shriners Hospitals for Children. And he delivers an all-star line-up!

Timberlake has invited some of the hottest names in music: the Jonas Brothers, Rihanna, Will.i.am, Adam Levine (of Maroon 5), 50 Cent, Boyz II Men, Esmee Denters, and Leona Lewis will all be performing at the charity show on the Planet Hollywood Resort stage.

Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel Get Romantic In Rome

Strolling arm-in-arm down one of Rome's cobbled streets Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel looked every inch the young couple in love. The pair were taking the opportunity to spend a few days in the Italian capital before moving onto the Amalfi coast for the October 1 wedding of Jessica's former 7th Heaven castmate, actress and country music singer Beverly Mitchell.

With its stunning architecture and rich history, Rome has formed the romantic backdrop for many love stories, both on and off screen. And the Trevi Fountain, which played a starring role in Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn classic Roman Holiday was likely to have featured near the top of Justin and Jessica's sightseeing list.

The SexyBack singer and his girlfriend could further retrace the screen icons' steps by visiting The Forum and the 'Mouth Of Truth'. The stone face carved into the portico of a sixth-century church is still one of city's most popular attractions with visitors dipping their fingers into its mouth to test the legend that liars who do so will get their fingers bitten off.

Other not-to-be-missed sights include the Colisseum, the Pantheon, St Peter's Basilica and Michelangelo friezes in the Sistine Chapel.

Timberlake & Biel Househunting In New York

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have taken their relationship to the next level - they are househunting together in New York.
The couple has been touring condominiums in the Big Apple, where they have reportedly expressed interest in buying a home.
According to the New York Post, Biel and Timberlake are "quite impressed" with a $2.9 million (£1.6 million) duplex in Manhattan's Chelsea district.
The 2,224-square-foot unit boasts three bedrooms, two baths, 16-foot ceilings and a sauna.
If they do buy the property, they won't be the only celebrities in the building - actor Danny DeVito also lives there.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel ditched the entourage for a roam round Rome – and no one noticed them.

The singer and his girlfriend walked hand-in-hand through tourists snapping the sights of the Italian capital but the only person taking pictures of the lovestruck couple was my snapper.

Justin didn’t even stop for a Roman soldier.

The street entertainer in full costume shook hands with Justin then tried to give him a high five – but the star didn’t look best impressed.

Come on Just, when in Rome . . .

Fairhaven Abuzz Over Celebrity Couple's Visit

FAIRHAVEN — Have you heard?

That was the question on seemingly everyone's lips as the news of a celebrity sighting — Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel ate breakfast at Margaret's on Sunday! — raced across town and beyond.

"Oh yeah, everywhere I go, if they know who I am," Douglas Buker, the restaurant's owner, said when asked if people had been questioning him about the famous couple.

(For those of you who still aren't sure what the big deal is: Mr. Timberlake is a former member of the boy band *NSYNC and world-famous musician in his own right, and Ms. Biel is an actress seen most recently in "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry." Their relationship has been well-chronicled in glossy celebrity magazines.)

Mr. Timberlake and Ms. Biel aren't the first celebrities to dine at Margaret's, Mr. Buker said, but Mr. Timberlake is "definitely the biggest."

The couple was apparently in town for the wedding of a college classmate of Ms. Biel, who went to school at Tufts University in Boston, according to Chelsea Barboza, 20, who was the couple's waitress Sunday morning.

Sundays, one of Ms. Barboza's regular shifts since starting at the restaurant a few weeks ago, are always busy, she said, and this past Sunday was no different.

During a short break in the action, she caught a glimpse of a pretty woman waiting outside for a table, who looked, Ms. Barboza thought at the time, a lot like Ms. Biel.

Even as the thought crossed her mind, the cook rushed in to share the news that Mr. Timberlake was standing in the street outside the restaurant, confirming that the woman didn't just resemble the famous actress but was, in fact, the real deal.

The couple waited for a table for about 20 minutes, Ms. Barboza said, and Mr. Timberlake passed the time dancing in the street.

"They came in at a good time, and they were able to sit in the back room alone," said Mr. Buker, who missed the excitement as he and his wife were at church.

The news spread fast, and by the time the couple had finished eating, a crowd of nearly 100 people had gathered outside, according to Ms. Barboza. (The couple both tried linguica for the first time and loved it, Ms. Barboza said, although Mr. Timberlake struggled with the pronunciation, calling it "lin-gwee-ka.")

The restaurant's staff offered to let Mr. Timberlake and Ms. Biel leave through the back door to avoid the fans, but the couple said they were happy to go outside and take some photos.

"They were so down to earth about everything," Ms. Barboza said. "They were just like any people."

Justin Timberlake Goes For A Hole-In-One

Justin Timberlake is the new face of golf! The musician will be on the November issue of Golf Digest in addition to hosting the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas from October 13-19 -- which will air on the Golf Channel!
In Golf Digest, Timberlake talks about his love of the game and how it connects him with friends and family. His parents are renovating a golf course in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee that is set to reopen in July 2009.
"For me, golf is one of those things where you go out and forget about everything else" Timberlake says.
Justin says his music has influenced his golf swing! "(I'm) self-taught. I'd watch Tiger [Woods] and Ernie Els on TV and try to learn from what they did, but obviously I related music to it. The golf swing is very, very rhythmic. There's a certain tempo to it, just like in music."

Timbaland And Timberlake

Music producer extraordinaire Timbaland - a.k.a. Timothy Mosley - threw a birthday party for his kid brother Sebastian - a.k.a. Garland Mosley - at Showcase Live Sunday night. Guests included Celts captain Paul Pierce and teammates Rajon Rondo, J.R. Giddens, Darius Miles, and Gabe Pruitt; former Celtic Dana Barros; Pats Kelley Washington and Lonie Paxton; New England Revs Khano Smith and Rob Valentino; JAM'N DJs Hustle Simmons and Melissa; and HOT 106's Joey Foxx. Timbaland collaborator Justin Timberlake was in Boston over the weekend but apparently did not attend the party. JT and girlfriend Jessica Biel arrived Friday on a flight from LA and ate lunch Sunday at Daedalus in Harvard Square. Biel, who briefly attended Tufts before dropping out to pursue an acting career, ate a burger while Timberlake had a Cuban sandwich. Yes, the cute couple are good tippers.

Justin, Miley And Charlize Among Stars At Fashion Rocks

NEW YORK — Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Charlize Theron were among the celebrities who appeared at the fifth annual Fashion Rocks concert celebrating the relationship between music and fashion.

They walked the red carpet Friday night at Radio City Music Hall amid a media circus angling for glamour shots of other stars including Fergie, Rihanna, Chris Brown and the "Gossip Girl" gang.

Brown, the R&B heartthrob, soaked up all the attention with a smile as he showed off his dapper ensemble of a black vest and shirt, gray pants, shiny shoes and diamond stud earrings.

"To be a musician and a great entertainer, you have to be a trendsetter. To be a trendsetter, you have to know fashion and I have fun with it," explained the singer, who later changed into khakis and a black shirt and scarf for a performance of his hit song "Forever."

The event will air Tuesday in a two-hour special on CBS. Proceeds will benefit Stand Up To Cancer, a program established by the Entertainment Industry Foundation to raise money for cancer research.

Stand Up To Cancer held a live telethon that aired simultaneously on ABC, NBC and CBS on Friday night.

Fashion Rocks provided a live feed to the fundraising show of a performance of more than a dozen divas including Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Natasha Bedingfield, Fergie, Rihanna and Cyrus who gathered on stage to sing their new charity song, "Just Stand Up." Theron and fellow Oscar winner Hilary Swank introduced the ladies' collaboration.

Bedingfield said she lost her grandmother to the disease several years ago, and was thrilled to share the spotlight with the other singers.

"This is the first time we're all together singing the song," she said backstage. "It was really special. It was really like a sisterhood, like a bond. ... We're all used to being the stars the only star in the room and it was really nice I think that everyone could just come together and really support each other."

Other performers included Timberlake, Kid Rock, Keith Urban, Duffy, the Pussycat Dolls and the Black Eyed Peas.

A highlight was Timberlake and Beyonce's sizzling duet of "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing," which channeled the soulful sound of the classic song's original singers, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Stars mingled and sipped cocktails backstage in the green room, where Leighton Meester of the CW teen drama "Gossip Girl" and her actor-beau Sebastian Stan hung out before she introduced Duffy's performance of "Mercy."

Meester's "Gossip" co-star Chace Crawford chatted up actress Hayden Panettiere, who embraced her rock-star side in a silver Ferragamo minidress and black heels.

"I usually try to mix class and then really funk it out," Panettiere said of her personal style. "It's rock meets class. I try not always succeed, but I try."
